About Me
I'm an astrophysicist-turned-science communicator, educator and an astrophotographer based in Oxford, MS. My writing has featured in Nature Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Scientific American and Astrobites. I've also written and directed videos for the science YouTube channel Veritasium.
Currently, I'm teaching undergraduate integrated science classes to non-STEM majors as an instructor with the college of liberal arts at the University of Mississippi. My past research involved various aspects of gravitational wave astrophysics as well as the noise characterization of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors.
